INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENTS. FOR EVERY MIND.
Understanding how people function to create more inclusive workplaces that support everyone.

Traditional workplace design often focuses on efficiency and utilisation. But these measures don't tell us how well an environment supports the diverse ways people think, work and experience their environment. By placing neuroinclusion and human functioning at the centre of workplace decisions, we can create environments that are not only efficient and aesthetically considered, but genuinely inclusive and supportive of the people who use them.
NeuroHaven is a specialist neuroinclusive workplace consultancy helping organisations, architects and project teams understand the diverse ways people think, experience and interact with their environments.
Through our Human Functioning Framework, we translate these insights into practical workplace strategies and design decisions that better support the needs of everyone.
The NeuroHaven Human Functioning Framework provides a structured approach to understanding how workplace environments influence the diverse ways people think, experience, behave and perform. It considers three interconnected dimensions:
Cognitive — How people focus, process information, make decisions and manage mental demands.
Sensory — How people experience, respond to and regulate sensory conditions within their environment.
Behavioural — How people move, interact, work and adapt within their environment.
By understanding these dimensions alongside an organisation's culture, people and ways of working, NeuroHaven identifies environmental barriers, recognises differing needs and translates these insights into practical workplace strategies and design decisions.
Because designing for difference begins with understanding difference.

Understand how people experience their workplace, identify sensory, cognitive and behavioural barriers, and uncover opportunities to better support human functioning.
